Facial style studies. Still weak at it cause I'm still stuck with how I usually draw them. More practice to be done!! Yeeargh!
The whole western/japanese style problem is still in my head. :(

there's such a broad spectrum of styles in both western and japanese art that sometimes they can seem to overlap, and when further considered, can become even more convoluted in your mind.
I find it best to simply not make the distinction, and to simply strive for what simply looks good, taking various elements from everywhere and experimenting with ones developed from my own twisted minds eye.
